How are you? Hope you are fine .I guess we all make mistakes in our lives, don’t we? Well, today I’ve decided to talk about some mistakes we do while we market online.

The first mistake I am going to talk about is spamming. Spamming is when we send advertising e-mails to other fellow network marketers without their consent. Personally, it does not annoy me that much to receive spam e-mails because I delete them and think nothing of them. What annoys me is when I post my link on MY facebook wall and people comment by posting their link under MY link and on MY wall. I post on MY wall so I believe that others should post on THEIRS!

Talking about facebook, another mistake is to not put a profile picture of yourself. People want to know you. A photo of you helps a lot.

Another mistake some people do in network marketing is to ask you directly to join their business over and over again even if you have already told them that you’re not interested or that your plate is full at the moment! They keep asking you till annoying you. They just don’t accept a ‘no’. I hate it when this happens to me because I don’t want to be rude. It’s not in my character! And, I believe I have the right to choose and join who and what I want!

I believe that if you want to join a particular business or not, it’s up to you. I don’t like it when someone tries to make me join him/her by ‘force’. I like to let people be free and let them decide for themselves whether to join me in any of my businesses or not. When you let people decide and think, believe me, you get more response!

Another mistake some network marketers do is to put other people’s business down in front of everybody else to show that their business is the best. This really annoys me! Everyone should respect other people’s business. To try to put people down so that they join you, DOESN’T WORK!!! You should attract people to you and not repel them lol. This does NOT work!!!

Sometime ago, an online marketer sent me an e-mail to join his business in which I happened to be already a member. I replied back and told him that I was already a member. I also told him what was working for me so that if he wanted to join me, he could do so on his own free will. You know what? He replied back to me asking me to join him in another business he was in and ended his e-mail by telling me that my business was not going to last too long!

What do you think happened?

Did I join him in his second business he told me about?

NO!!! Definetly NOT!!!

He was negative and put my business down. How could I join him?

This story shows that when you are negative, you will not have success so, be polite and respect others always. People join YOU first and then your business. If you are rude or you annoy people, no one will follow you. It’s as simple as that!

I mentioned spamming some paragraphs above and I forgot to say something. Please don’t go and accuse or report someone of spamming before you are sure you did not subscribe to his/her mailing list. If you forgot that you have subscribed, it’s not their fault!!! This happens sometimes lol. Yes, people subscribe to someone’s list and then forget all about it. Then, when they start receiving mail or messages which they themselves have requested or agreed to receive, they complain and sometimes they even report an innocent person!

Another mistake I am remembering of is that some network marketers don’t help their downline at all. They don’t answer their questions and leave them all by themselves. This does not work! Do you want people to stay with you or not? If you ever needed help, you would have loved to be helped so, why don’t you help others? If you want to make money, you need to help your downline. Your downline’s success is eventually your success too . If you want growth and success in your business, you need to help others achieve success first!
