Lately, I’ve been receiving a lot of e-mails and messages from people who want to start marketing online for the very first time.

Many of them, don’t know from where to start. They ask if it’s easy and what should they do.

Well, I was there too and know how it feels. Yep, it is not that easy to make money online but it can be done! Yes, it is possible!

My story…

I started marketing online in August 2006 with GDI. I knew nothing about online marketing but wanted to try it out and see how it goes :) . As a mother, I wanted to earn money from home so that I’ll be home with the children.

I learned that when you join an online opportunity, you are given a website url with your username or as it is best known, a referral url. You need to advertise this url with your username or unique ID to enroll/sponsor new people in order to make money.

To continue with my story, once I joined GDI, I started advertising my link to enroll new members. It was hard at first but although I sponsored no one in my first week or so, I continued to advertise and advertise my link everyday and, guess what? Yes, I started getting sign-ups. I was overjoyed!

Although I was a newbie, I realised that I needed a website to be more professional and as I was in GDI at that time, I created my personal GDI website and started promoting it on various advertising free sites. 

Well, although I managed to sponsor about 14 people or so in GDI, I had to call it quits because my downline was quitting and I ended up earning nothing! These things happen all the time. Many people join, do nothing or do little and then, they quit :( .

To be a successful online marketer you need to have a great desire to succeed and you need to persist to have positive results and therefore make money. It’s not that easy! You need to work at it!!!

Although I ended up with no downline and ended up leaving GDI, I didn’t call it quits on having my own online business so I kept joining programs and continued my online journey. Sometimes I was successful and sometimes I wasn’t. I learned a lot through trial and error.

As I wanted to succeed so much in earning an income from home, I kept searching and looking for something which will help me make it into this business. Finally, while searching, I clicked on a link… MAGNETIC SPONSORING and as I liked what I read, I bought the awesome book immediately because I wanted to learn about marketing online. I wanted to make it!

Was this book worth it?

Yes, very much!

This book by Mike Dillard helped me a lot and I recommend it to newbies and to all those trying to earn money online.

Although MAGNETIC SPONSORING helped me a lot, I learned from other online marketers as well. I studied them and did what they did. I did mistakes too lol because no one is perfect but it’s alright – you learn from mistakes :) .

To cut it short, it was a long journey but definitely worth it!!!

I am not rich yet but I’m doing quite well in my online programs.

People contact me to ask me questions and to join my online opportunities. I don’t chase them to join me.

I love network marketing and I’m addicted to it. I love writing blog posts, creating videos and enjoy advertising everyday. I just love receiving e-mails notifying me that I  have received a commission or that I have referred new members :) . I love what I’m doing and I love earning money online from home!!!

My advice is to never ever give up even when you’re earning nothing or when you’re earning so little! It’s difficult, I know. Just keep in mind that you can do it, and you will!!! Mark my words… It can be done :) .

Advertise everyday, be honest and don’t lie. Also, I recommend that you have your own personal website or blog to brand yourself. Be original in what you do and definitely DO NOT SPAM!

You can do it – just take it one step at a time and you’re on your way to success :) .

One more important tip…

Help others as much as you can and you’ll be happier and successful sooner than you think.

Remember to never quit!!!

As you well might be aware, succeeding online is not that easy for many. In fact, 97% of online marketers fail in network marketing because they don’t know how to market online. They don’t know how to sponsor and in this type of business, if you don’t enroll people into your online opportunity, you will not make money online.

So, what’s the secret? What should one do to succeed in network marketing?

First things first.

When we’re young, we go to school to learn how to read and write and, we educate ourselves. Then, when we grow up, we choose to study or take a course which will help us in the work we want to do. For example, if one wants to be a secretary, he or she will take a secretarial course.

But, in network marketing, many don’t know what they shouldn’t do or what they should do in order to succeed because they took no training at all.

Many people just join an online opportunity and think that they will get rich in no time!

Reality is otherwise!

I believe to succeed online, you need to learn how to network online. A book I recommend you read is definitely Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard. Before you read the book, I suggest you watch the FREE video series that will help you for sure.

Guess what my eldest daughter wants to be when she grows up?… A network marketer!!! See why…

Yes, some weeks ago, I asked my ten year old daughter what does she want to be when she grows up and she quickly replied…

I asked her why and this is what she told me…

“I want to be a network marketer so that I will…

1.  earn money from the comfort of my own home

2. be my own boss

3. work whenever I want

4. wake up late

and

5. do something I enjoy… working on a computer :) .”

She is only ten and already noticed that being an online marketer is fun!

Although young, she’s already eager to have her own site and start marketing lol.

While talking to her, I pointed out that she only mentioned the advantages of network marketing.

I asked her, “what about the disadvantages?”

She told me that she believes that sometimes it maybe difficult to enroll new members and therefore make money but, she continued that if you show you are serious and persist, you will make it :) .

And, she is RIGHT!

To earn money online you need to believe it and MAKE IT HAPPEN because it is POSSIBLE!!! You need to persist and keep going because if you do, you’ll see results for sure ;) !

Therefore, if you want to make money online and be successful in your online business, NEVER EVER GIVE UP!

Well, today I am going to talk about multiple streams of income. Many ask me why am I involved in more than one program. The answer to this question is simple :) . I am because I can and because this way, I am able to earn not from one stream of income but, from multiple streams!

As you know, today there are thousands and thousands of online opportunities as well as thousands and thousands of internet users. There’s a money-making opportunity everywhere you turn your head so there are a lot of programs you can choose from.

Not all money-making programs make it. Some come and go and therefore, it is wise to be in several opportunities as you might never know what will happen. What if you are with program X only and all of a sudden it ends, what will you do? Your cash flow will end with it too and you’ll end up beginning from scratch! But if you are in other programs, your cash flow will not stop as you’ll be generating multiple streams of income all the time ;) .

Some say, “but, if I am in more than one program, how can I focus on it to explode it? Where do I begin? Which program do I advertise?”

Well, you have to set yourself a time-table. For example you can advertise program X on Monday, program Y on Tuesday and program Z on Wednesday etc etc. Just plan your advertising and be consistent in what you do. Keep marketing your several programs again and again and you’ll soon see people joining you.

You can also use a blog like I am doing. Blogs are favoured by Google and when people search for money-making opportunities through search engines, they can end up visiting and joining one of your money-makers you wrote about in one of your blog posts.

Making Money Online – What Not To Do And What To Do.

As I mentioned in my first post, I am going to tell you what works and what doesn’t when you have an online business opportunity.

Making money online is not that easy as some may want us to believe but it can be done if you know what and what not to do. What might have been good in the past, doesn’t mean it’s still good today! Life changes and people change.

In the old days, (although I believe there are people still doing what I am going to mention now), network marketers, advertised their business by hanging flyers, bugging their families and friends, and holding hotel meetings. I know that because when I first joined my first network marketing company, I was told to use these same techniques.

I was told to make a list of 100 people that I knew and basically call every one of them to ask and see if they would be interested in making some extra money. I was only faced with questions I wasn’t able to answer, getting hung up on, and faced with nothing but rejection. I hate calling prospects and I don’t do it anymore! It’s absolutely a no, no!

Once, when I was in another opportunity trying to make money online yet again without success, I e-mailed my upline and asked him for help. I was still a beginner those days. Well, when I finally got a reply, all my upline told me to do was to go out and buy some opportunity leads. I was very inexperienced in these things and did just that.

Some of the leads I bought (if not half of them), did not exist at all and the other ‘good’ leads resulted in nothing… no sales at all!

So, buying leads is not good at all because this only leads you to some more rejection and to spending more money and hey, you want to make money not spend it!

Then, some years and many opportunities later, I found what I consider to be the “life saver” for all those who want to earn a living working online.
