Lately, I’ve been receiving a lot of e-mails and messages from people who want to start marketing online for the very first time.
Many of them, don’t know from where to start. They ask if it’s easy and what should they do.
Well, I was there too and know how it feels. Yep, it is not that easy to make money online but it can be done! Yes, it is possible!
My story…
I started marketing online in August 2006 with GDI. I knew nothing about online marketing but wanted to try it out and see how it goes . As a mother, I wanted to earn money from home so that I’ll be home with the children.
I learned that when you join an online opportunity, you are given a website url with your username or as it is best known, a referral url. You need to advertise this url with your username or unique ID to enroll/sponsor new people in order to make money.
To continue with my story, once I joined GDI, I started advertising my link to enroll new members. It was hard at first but although I sponsored no one in my first week or so, I continued to advertise and advertise my link everyday and, guess what? Yes, I started getting sign-ups. I was overjoyed!
Although I was a newbie, I realised that I needed a website to be more professional and as I was in GDI at that time, I created my personal GDI website and started promoting it on various advertising free sites.
Well, although I managed to sponsor about 14 people or so in GDI, I had to call it quits because my downline was quitting and I ended up earning nothing! These things happen all the time. Many people join, do nothing or do little and then, they quit 
.
To be a successful online marketer you need to have a great desire to succeed and you need to persist to have positive results and therefore make money. It’s not that easy! You need to work at it!!!
Although I ended up with no downline and ended up leaving GDI, I didn’t call it quits on having my own online business so I kept joining programs and continued my online journey. Sometimes I was successful and sometimes I wasn’t. I learned a lot through trial and error.
As I wanted to succeed so much in earning an income from home, I kept searching and looking for something which will help me make it into this business. Finally, while searching, I clicked on a link… MAGNETIC SPONSORING and as I liked what I read, I bought the awesome book immediately because I wanted to learn about marketing online. I wanted to make it!
Was this book worth it?
Yes, very much!
This book by Mike Dillard helped me a lot and I recommend it to newbies and to all those trying to earn money online.
Although MAGNETIC SPONSORING helped me a lot, I learned from other online marketers as well. I studied them and did what they did. I did mistakes too lol because no one is perfect but it’s alright – you learn from mistakes .
To cut it short, it was a long journey but definitely worth it!!!
I am not rich yet but I’m doing quite well in my online programs.
People contact me to ask me questions and to join my online opportunities. I don’t chase them to join me.
I love network marketing and I’m addicted to it. I love writing blog posts, creating videos and enjoy advertising everyday. I just love receiving e-mails notifying me that I have received a commission or that I have referred new members . I love what I’m doing and I love earning money online from home!!!
My advice is to never ever give up even when you’re earning nothing or when you’re earning so little! It’s difficult, I know. Just keep in mind that you can do it, and you will!!! Mark my words… It can be done .
Advertise everyday, be honest and don’t lie. Also, I recommend that you have your own personal website or blog to brand yourself. Be original in what you do and definitely DO NOT SPAM!
You can do it – just take it one step at a time and you’re on your way to success .
One more important tip…
Help others as much as you can and you’ll be happier and successful sooner than you think.
Remember to never quit!!!

I guess we all make mistakes in our lives, don’t we? Well, today I’ve decided to talk about some mistakes we do while we market online.
Well, before I join a safelist for my e-mail marketing, I make sure that it is a credit based safelist so that when I read some of the members’ e-mails, I get credit for doing so. Then, I use the credits from the e-mails I read to send my e-mail to the members. I don’t read all the e-mails, I read what captures my attention. And, I also read solo ads and e-mails from admin as they have high credits.
